I grew my first beard back in 2020, after a lifetime of being clean-shaven. The early weeks were rough. It itched, it grew in patchy, and I had no idea what I was doing.

Instead of shaving it off, I got curious. I started reading ingredient lists, using products long enough to actually judge them, and paying attention to what worked on my own beard. Somewhere along the way, beard care turned into a proper hobby.

I’m not a barber or a grooming professional, and I won’t pretend to be. I’m just someone who has spent years living with a beard, learning what works, and getting comfortable saying when a popular product isn’t worth the money. That’s what I write about here.
